Drake And Travis Scott's Beef Escalates Over Recent Collaborations

Drake while playing

During a recent performance at Penn State University Park, Drake made it evident that his relationship with fellow rapper Travis Scott has soured. The incident occurred during Drake's J. Cole’s It’s All a Blur – Big as the What? Tour, where he performed his collaboration with Scott, 'Meltdown.' In a fan-captured video, Drake concluded a verse by gesturing as if holding a gun towards a giant inflatable head of Scott, followed by simulated explosions.

Speculation arose regarding the rift between Drake and Scott after Scott appeared at Rolling Loud California alongside Metro Boomin and Future. During the performance, Scott encouraged the duo to play 'Like That,' a track featuring a diss verse aimed at Drake by Kendrick Lamar. The verse included references to Drake's 2023 album, his collaboration with J. Cole, and the notion of the 'big three' in hip-hop.

The live rendition of 'Like That' without Lamar's verse saw significant success, debuting at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Additionally, the joint album by Metro Boomin and Future, We Don’t Trust You, claimed the number one spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Drake's ongoing tour, It’s All A Blur – Big as the What?, is set to resume on April 4 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The feud between Drake and Scott has sparked interest among fans and the music industry, adding a new dynamic to the hip-hop scene.
