Going into Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the league had warned the Raptors about Drake’s courtside antics. Basically, the Milwaukee Bucks complained so much during the Eastern Conference Finals that the NBA had to at least acknowledge them.
Well, the message wasn’t exactly received by the Toronto rapper.
Drake showed up to Scotiabank Arena for Game 1 wearing a Raptors throwback jersey of Steph’s father Dell Curry. He covered up his Warriors tattoos with a wristband (because of course). He also had a playful exchange with Steph during a timeout.
While the broadcast didn’t capture the exchange, there were plenty of photos of Drake having a moment with the Warriors star. Notice Curry’s smile — the two are friends.
We don’t know what was said, but I’m sure Steph took notice to Drake’s jersey. How could he not?
