Dragon's Den fans all in agreement over Tej Lalvani's replacement

The Dragons are back for another series but the Den looks a little different for 2022.

While Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman and Sara Davies will all return as investors, the show welcomes one new face to the Den.

The Dragons are joined by 29-year-old Steven Bartlett, the youngest Dragon in the history of the show.

He joins the panel after Tej Lalvani revealed he would be stepping down as a Dragon to focus his time on his businesses.

Steven rose to success with the marketing agency Social Chain which was a business he set up when he was 18.

By the time he was 23, he was a millionaire.

Thursday's episode saw The Cheese Geek - a cheese subscription app - bid for £150,000 for 3% of their venture.

Peter Jones offered them the money, but wanted 15% of their business.

Newbie Steven undercut him by half, offering the funds for a mere 7.5%.

Edward and Rich took Steven's offer, meaning he made an investment on his first ever Dragons' pitch.

And fans of the entrepreneurial show were quick to comment on the new Dragon via Twitter.

Millie Sansoye said: "Steven just saying Peter is a bloodsucker lmaoooo I love this new dragon already #DragonsDen"

Dillon32363606 said: "New dragon Steven seems a perfect fit and has made the show a better watch which i didn’t think was possible."

Abbie Widdowson said: "'That young new dragon he's just swept me off my feet', we love to see it. Stand up for us young people Steven."

BazzFlashman said: "Steven is good!"
