Dragon Quest

GTA may have sold 677,000 in its opening few days on sale in the UK but that's relatively little compared to Dragon Quest VIII in Japan. The latest in the RPG series has sold 2.2 million copies in two days and proves once again the Japanese love of role-playing games. The game should be out in the US in 2005, but is unlikely to replicate its Far Eastern success in the West. Is that fair? Do we not appreciate Japanese RPGs?
