Drag Race UK winner Lawrence Chaney teases possible Netflix series on social media

When Glasgow drag queen Lawrence Chaney won Drag Race UK last month, we all knew she was destined for great things.

And it looks like those expectations are already being met.

Lawrence shared an image on Twitter of herself in front of the Netflix sign, sparking speculation that she could soon be on her way to starring in a TV show for the online streaming giant.

The performer has made no secret of the fact that she'd love to be a regular face on television after winning RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

Lawrence, who is glammed up in purple in the photo, captioned it "I like tae watch", and just in case any non-Scottish fans were confused she added, "tae is Scottish slang for TO".

The cryptic nature of her post did nothing to stop fans getting excited, with one replying, "omg you and bimini????? pls i need it" while another said, "Ooooooo now this could be exciting".

The 24-year-old beat out competition from some of the best drag queens in the UK to be crowned the winner.

As well as being named the UK’s drag superstar, Lawrence will also get her own Hollywood mini-series with the creators of the show.

We'll be watching this space, Lawrence...we can't wait to see what you're up to!
