For the first time ever, the hunt is on for the first Drag King of Scotland.
This month the legendary drag king battle "Man up" is coming to Edinburgh.
Kings will battle it out at Summerhall on the 22nd March to win a place in the Grand Finale in London.
Those taking part have a lot of choice in what they can do for their performance, whether it be lip-syncing, singing or stand up comedy. However you only have four minutes to impress the judges, so it better be good.
The event will be hosted by London drag legend Jonny Woo, the creator behind "Man Up", who said:
"I'm really excited to be bringing Man Up to Edinburgh for the first time.
"We're now in our sixth year and it's going to be our biggest contest yet.
"More than 150 drag kings from across the country have entered so far, with at least 15 confirmed for the Scottish heat.
"The drag king scene is evolving fast and we hope Edinburgh audiences will come out and support the local talent,
"I'm expecting a tonne of great performances, some fantastic looks and lots of laughs."
Drag Kings, are as you'd expect, the counterbalance to Drag Queens.
This queer, trans, AFAB (assigned female at birth), female-led tournament is one of the biggest of its kind, and is set to bring together some of the cities best breakthrough female, trans, non-binary and intersex artists.
The Edinburgh heat will start at 7.30pm at Summerhall on 22nd March, tickets are priced at £5 and can be purchased here.
