Drag events in Bristol that will add to your love of RuPaul’s drag race

It is no secret that RuPaul’s Drag Race has brought drag to a new audience

Drag, the art of dressing up as, imitating, and exaggerating another gender, used to be seen as a niche art form, even in the LGBTQ+ community.

This is why Ru Paul's Drag Race, a reality TV show based in the United States where drag queens compete for $100,000, has shocked many with its popularity.

Ten years after the show first aired, a popular spin off premiered in Thailand, and a UK version of the show will be airing sometime later this year.

Bristol is one of the cities in the UK that has its own thriving drag scene.

For fans of the show who want more drag than what is currently provided, here is a list of five drag events happening in Bristol this month. Netflix's best shows and films to appear in April
