The 2021 NFL draft recently came to a close, with the three-day event wrapping things up on Saturday in Cleveland.
Georgia saw nine players selected during this year’s draft, setting a school record, and could very well look to break that record next year.
The Dawgs are loaded with talent and have every intention on competing for a national championship this upcoming season.
With all that returning talent, the Bulldogs will be heavily represented in next year’s draft.
USA TODAY’s Draftwire recently released a 2022 NFL mock draft which featured two UGA players going in the first round.

Pick No. 13: WR George Pickens to the Tennessee Titans

DraftWire has Georgia star wide receiver George Pickens going early at No. 13 to the Tennessee Titans.
Pickens is currently rehabbing a torn ACL and hopes to return this season, but even if he is unable to take the field in 2021 the junior receiver has shown he is one of the top pass catchers in the nation.
Through two seasons, Pickens has 85 catches for 1,240 yards and 14 touchdowns.
With quarterback JT Daniels under center for the second half of 2020, Pickens was looking like he could be the best receiver in college football. If Pickens is able to return this year, look for the two of them to form a deadly duo.
NEXT: Speaking of JT Daniels…
Pick No. 24: QB JT Daniels to the Denver Broncos

Speaking of JT Daniels, he’s another one that should hear his name called early on in the 2022 NFL draft. Already viewed as a Heisman hopeful, Daniels completely changed the Georgia offense when he took over against Mississippi State in November.
In just four games, Daniels tossed for 1,231 yards, 10 touchdowns, and just two picks.
The Broncos decided not to take a quarterback this past Friday, despite ex-UGA passer Justin Fields being an option when Denver picked ninth overall. The Broncos are expected to start former Missouri quarterback Drew Lock this season, with Teddy Bridgewater backing him up. So there’s no denying the team is in need of a steady option at quarterback.
