The final season of Game of Thrones is fast approaching its conclusion, with only two episodes left before we find out who will claim the Iron Throne.
Fans were treated to an episode of tension and tears on Monday night as two beloved characters met their deaths in the aftermath of the brutal Battle of Winterfell.
Not only did episode four see the Mother of Dragons (Daenerys Targaryen) lose yet another one of her children, but also one of her closest friends and most trusted advisors.
Dragon Rhaegal's death at the hands of Euron Greyjoy during an ill-fated attempt to storm King's Landing was not enough for the show's creators, as the much-loved Missandei was captured and beheaded.
After becoming Cersei's prisoner, Missandei was paraded in front of her queen and Grey Worm. She uttered the word "dracarys" seconds before Mountain beheaded her - which fans think will have major implications for the rest of the series.
Fans will recognise the infamous command as one Daenerys uses to order her dragon Drogon to breathe fire on everything in sight, with the word meaning "dragonfire".
But why did Missandei say it?
A major fan theory speculates that Missandei is telling Daenerys to "burn them all" - as in, burn Cersei's palace to the ground and everything in it, including the thousands of innocent civilians in King's Landing.
Daenery's has refrained from doing so up to this point over fears she will share the same epithet as her father, who was known as the Mad King. But as she grieves the deaths of those closest to her, speculation is high that she will respond with a rage that threatens the thousands of civilians on King's Landing - against the advice of Tyrion and Varys.
Either way, fans were not happy over Missandei's death and what it means to Grey Worm, who is visibly shaken at the death of his love.
