Tributes have been paid after the passing of Dublin County Board member Kathleen McPoland.
Kathleen was a well-known member of the Dublin GAA community and was described as a woman who "exuded kindness and generosity" in everything she did.
Dublin GAA announced the death of their friend and colleague on Saturday night.
A statement said: "It is with deep sadness and regret that I inform you of the passing of our friend and work colleague, Kathleen McPoland.
"Kathleen worked with the Dublin County Board for many years and was a very valued member of our team here in Parnell Park.
"Whatever task Kathleen was entrusted with she could be relied on to deliver. Her work in establishing new juvenile games structures continues to bear fruit for Dublin GAA to this day.
"Kathleen exuded kindness and generosity of spirit and was a friendly face and voice (except in September!) to all who dealt with the Dublin County Board.
"Her passing will leave a void, but her memory will remain with all of us.
"Dublin GAA Board extend our deepest sympathy to her husband Paul, son David, daughter Rachael and her extended family.
"Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam dílis."
Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan led the tributes to Kathleen as he offered his condolences.
Dr Holohan said: "This is very sad news indeed. I heard it while watching Leinster final tonight.
"I came across Kathleen many times during my ten years coaching underage teams with @Tempsyngest Great ambassador for juvenile GAA @DublinGaaOfficial Sincere condolences to her family and friends."
