LUCKNOW: An FIR has been registered against Samajwadi Party’s MLC candidate and former BRD College doctor Kafeel Khan for obstructing government work in Deoria.
The FIR was lodged by Prakash Patel, driver of an 108 ambulance. He alleged that on March 26, when he was bringing a patient Geeta Mishra from a primary health center to the district health center, Dr Kafeel Ahmed forcibly entered the ambulance and started treatment of Mishra. He did not agree to leave and obstructed government work, said the police. However, Kafeel in his tweet stated that he was doing a field tour in Deoria and saw a truck hit a woman. She was injured and bleeding and therefore he decided to help her. TNN
