Dr Hilary Jones has given his insight on a new weight loss pill that may be coming to the UK soon.
Orforglipron offers an "effective approach" for sustaining weight loss, especially for those not wishing to remain on jabs, a study has shown.
The drug - made by Eli Lilly - works by lowering blood sugar levels, slowing food digestion and reducing appetite.
Appearing on Lorraine on Wednesday (13 May), the TV doctor explained that it can help people maintain roughly 75% of their previously lost weight after transitioning from injections.
Dr Hilary also explained some of the downsides of the pill, including the cost factor if people rely on it daily.
