Dr Hilary discloses his surprising age - and admits he's nearly in vulnerable group

Dr Hilary revealed his surprising age on today's Good Morning Britain - leaving Piers Morgan stunned.

The GMB doctor was left red-faced when Piers started reading out extracts from an interview with his wife, Dee, in which she dubbed him a ' coronavirus pandemic pin-up'.

"I love that my delicious doc is a tonic for the nation," read Piers, as Dr Hilary put his head in his hands.

When Piers started speaking about his looks, youthful-looking Hilary confirmed that he is 67-years-old.

The giggling GP confessed: "I'm in the vulnerable group nearly."

In denial, Piers exclaimed: "You’re not 67. Are you really 67? You look about 10 years younger than me."

Dr Hilary joked that it was because he does his make-up better than Piers while they are social distancing without their team.

When Piers read that Dr Hilary's wife has been helping him destress, Piers said: "I won’t go into how that works out in the household."

Dee was the GMTV fitness expert while Dr Hilary was dispensing medical advice and they met in 2008, eventually marrying in 2016.

Describing his wife, the doc said: "She's a personal trainer, dance instructor and doing training online at the moment. Full of energy. Beautiful woman."

At the end of the chat, Hilary said: "I do think we should move on."

The 49-year-old personal trainer told The Sun : "I love that people are admiring his looks. Good for him. He’s 67 and still turning heads."

Dee has been gushing in her praise of the good doctor, saying: “Of course I think he’s very attractive and he’s such a lovely man. He is charming and caring.

“I admit I tease him about it. He just rolls his eyes and gets straight back to work."
