Dozens of rubbish bags left beside 'No Dumping' sign in Palmerstown

Thoughtless dumpers have been slammed as "inconsiderate" after dropping dozens of rubbish bags beside a "No Dumping" sign in a west Dublin estate.

Shocking pictures of a line of bags left in the Woodfarm Acres Estate in Palmerstown were shared on social media this afternoon.

Palmerstown Neighbourhood Watch slammed the dumpers in an angry post accompanying the pictures.

They said: "Folks - this is illegal. It's inconsiderate. It's completely unnecessary.

"This is all garden waste. You can compost it. You can put it in your brown bin. You can bring it to Ballymount dump."

The group urged those engaging in the dumping not do do so "because everyone else does it".

They added: "You are all breaking the law and making the place look filthy. Please STOP."
