There have been dozens of new cases of Coronavirus in Bristol, with the total positive tests in the city now just under 2,500.
There have been 38 further confirmed cases of Covid-19 on Sunday, October 11.
It takes the total number of confirmed cases in the city since the start of the pandemic to 2,474.
It comes after Bristol saw 108 cases confirmed on Friday, the largest daily increase in cases during the pandemic.
The first case of Coronavirus in Bristol was on March 3.
There were an additional 12,872 new cases of Coronavirus across the UK, with the total number of cases now standing at 603,716.
The R rate in the South West is once again thought to be joint highest of any region in England.
Both the South West and the East of England have a top bracket of 1.6, which is the highest in the UK.
An R number between 1.3 and 1.6 means that on average, every 10 people who contract the virus will go on to infect between 13 and 16 other people.
This figure bucks the national trend – nationally R has dipped from between 1.3 and 1.6, to between 1.2 and 1.5.
