Dozens of firefighters are tackling a huge moorland blaze in Derbyshire.
Eight fire engines are in attendence.
Fire crews from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service are also said to be tackling the flames.
Police reported the large moorland fire at Woodhead, near Woodhead Reservoir.
Images and video being shared on social media show a wall of smoke drifting across the area on what has been one of the hottest days of the year.
There are no reported injuries.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said eight fire engines and specialist equipment have been deployed to the area.
They described the area as moorland near the Woodhead Tunnel near to Glossop.
On Twitter, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We have eight fire appliances and specialist moorland equipment on moorland near Woodhead Tunnel near to Glossop.
"Appliances from Derbyshire, Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire are assisting.
"Peak park gamekeeper also in attendance.
"Further information to follow."
Yesterday marked the second anniversary of the devastating moorland fires in Stalybridge and Winter Hill, Bolton.
The two fires required hundreds of firefighters from all over the country and support from the Army.
The fires raged for three weeks until heavy rainfall on July 11.
Fire services, councils and police have issued repeated warnings over the risk of fire on tinder-dry moorland during periods of hot weather, with many messages focusing on the use of disposable barbecues.
