Dozens of firefighters are tackling a large blaze at a timber yard in Ellesmere Port.
Emergency services were called to a reclaimed timber yard on Merseyton Road in Ellesmere Port at 4.20pm to reports of a fire.
Cheshire Fire Service were dispatched to the scene and on arrival they found the yard 'well ablaze'.

Additional crews were dispatched to fight the fire, with 10 engines at the scene by 6.30pm.
As well as the timber yard, the fire is also affecting a row of disused terraced homes, of which two were said to have been impacted.
A cordon has been put in place by police as a precautionary measure and Merseyton Road is closed as a result of the incident.
Residents are being asked to close their windows and doors while the emergency services tackle the blaze.
A spokesperson from Cheshire Fire Service said: "Firefighters are working hard to tackle the fire and prevent it from spreading further.
"The site has been split into four areas and firefighters are using main jets to fight the fire, they are also using an aerial appliance fight the fire from above."
Ellesmere Port Fire Station tweeted: "We're currently in attendance at a large fire on Merseyton Road. A cordon is in place, and the road is closed as a result. Please avoid the area."
