Dozens in melee in Fyshwick after 21st gatecrashed

A man was injured in a melee outside a 21st birthday in Fyshwick on Saturday night, but no charges have been laid over the incident.

ACT Policing have confirmed officers responded to an incident on Gladstone St in Fyshwick near the Capital Men's Club at around 11.45pm on Saturday night.

"Upon arrival, police discovered more than 20 people involved in a melee, that had started when several people attempting to gatecrash a 21st birthday party in a hired hall," an ACT Policing statement said.

Police confirmed one man had a "minor injury" in the incident.

Police did not confirm if weapons were involved in the brawl.

"No formal statement has been made to police at this time, and no charges have been laid," the statement said.
