Downton Abbey star Laura Carmichael is ladylike even as she walks her dogs in this Town & Country magazine photoshoot.

Laura, 33, back in the role of Lady Edith in the upcoming Downton film, told the mag, out next Thursday: “It’s such a joy.”

Focus Features said the big screen version of the ITV period drama will open internationally on September 13.

The film will star the original principal cast - including Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Brendan Coyle, Michelle Dockery, Kevin Doyle, Joanne Froggatt, Matthew Goode, Penelope Wilton and Dame Maggie Smith.
