Last call for those who don't want to miss the show tonight by celebrated Canadian downtempo outfit Rhye, at 8pm at Voice Space, with a special opening act by local alternative popsters Venn. #HYHBKK Live! With RHYE marks the group's latest gig in Bangkok since wowing local fans with their spellbinding show in 2018.
Well-known for their R&B-tinged synth-pop tunes and super-sultry atmospheric live shows, Rhye is a collaboration project between Toronto native vocalist and electronic musician Michael Milosh and Robin Hannibal of Danish electro-soul group Quadron. Rhye's music combines a distinctly lush, sensual R&B pop with Milosh's soft and soothing crooning. The duo released two brilliant singles Open and The Fall back in 2012, and quickly garnered a huge following and critical acclaim over their debut LP Woman. The album has been praised by critics, namely Pitchfork, The Guardian and The New York Times, for their songwriting and composition, and the amazing vocals that blend perfectly. In 2018, Rhye released their sophomore album Blood, which again received positive reviews from both fans and critics. There are many hit songs such as Song For You and Summer Days.
At #HYHBKK Live! With RHYE be ready to sing along to some old and new favourites like Rain, Need A Lover and Come In Closer, as Rhye is currently on tour to promote its latest album Home, where Bangkok is the group's first destination before flying to Japan for the Tonal Tokyo festival.
Covid-19 measures:
1. All attendees must show the Covid-19 Digital Health Pass with at least two doses of Covid-19 vaccines and also
a) a negative RT-PCR test result, taken within 48 hours
b) or a negative ATK test result, taken within 24 hours
The photo of the test result must include your ID card along with the testing date and time. The venue reserves the right to deny entry to anyone not able to show proof of vaccination.
2. ATK test kits are available for 150 baht each at the event. Attendees will be allowed to enter the event after showing their negative test results.
