Breakfast, handmade pizza, craft beers and cocktails will be served at new cafe bar opening in Long Eaton.
The Twitchel in Long Eaton, is currently undergoing a major makeover to turn it into the Corner Room.
Set to open after the Bank Holiday weekend, it will be operated by the Derbyshire-based Pub People Co. which runs pubs including Six Barrel Drafthouse in Nottingham and the Coach and Horses in Derby.
Operations director Andy Crawford said: "The Corner Room project is progressing well.
"The pub has been transformed from a downmarket boozer into a contemporary cafe bar style lounge with a great selection of craft beers and cocktails.
"There will be a strong presence of local and regional brewers providing the cask and craft beer, including Thornbridge, Black Iris, Neon Raptor, Dancing Duck and Liquid Light.
"We really hope that our refurbishment complements the other independent businesses in Long Eaton that have begun to appear over the past couple of years and gives customers something new to try after such a difficult time with the pandemic."
Food will be available every day, including breakfasts from 9.30am each morning, coffee from Nottingham roasters 200 Degrees and a handmade pizza and burger menu served daytime and evenings.
Customers can also look forward to a a range of tapas and ciabattas, and through the week there will be offers on selected days.
The pub, in Howitt Street, just off the main high pedestrianised high street, had belonged to Hawthorne Leisure at the time of closure. Before that it was a Wetherspoon's.
