Millions of people across the globe will be glued to their TV screens this weekend as the world's biggest and best steeplechase is beamed to hundreds of countries.
The Grand National will get underway at Aintree at around 5:15pm, when 40 horses and jockeys will compete for a chance to be crowned champions at the end of a gruelling four-mile race.
Last year Tiger Roll, ridden by Davy Russell and trained by Gordon Elliott, won the Grand National ahead of Pleasant Company after a photo finish at Aintree.
The National represents a chance for all of us to have a flutter. Whether you're a seasoned horse racing fan or someone who only ever bets on on this race, it's great opportunity to get together with your friends and put a couple of quid down on a horse.
