Downing Street 'bring your own booze' party - have your say

Boris Johnson has seen pressure pile up on him and his Government after further revelations about a Downing Street party that apparently broke lockdown rules.

An email from Johnson's private secretary in May 2020 revealed that over 100 people were invited to a party in the garden of Number 10.

People were invited to enjoy the 'lovely weather' with some 'socially distanced drinks', following what Mr Reynolds described as 'an incredibly busy period'.

Lockdown rules at the time only allowed people to meet one other person from outside their household while maintaining two metres of social distancing.

The email, which comes to light after Allegra Stratton's resignation following the press conference video leak, has caused further upset.

Many people have cited their own experiences of following the rules - sometimes when a family member has died - while Johnson and his team were apparently breaching the rules.
