'Down to earth' Wayne and Coleen Rooney keep busy in lockdown making Easter bonnets with their kids

Doting parents Wayne and Coleen Rooney have been making the most of their time together in lockdown this Easter.

The couple have been busy making Easter crafts in their garden and soaking up the sun with their boys Kai, 10, Klay, six, Kit, four, and two-year-old Cass.

The Manchester United legend and his wife made Easter bonnets and snap bands with their sons.

And their time together sparked in the glorious sun sparked nostalgia for Coleen.

"Easter bonnet and slap band making in the sun ...this weather reminds me of warm Easters when I was young," wrote Coleen as she posted a collection of photos from their family time on her Instagram.

"Easter bonnet competition," said Wayne on his page, and loved-up Coleen replied with a heart emoji.

"Love it - you’re so down to earth, enjoy," commented one follower.

"Happy Easter everyone, love and blessings," said another.

"Lovely family you have," praised another fan.

"Aww most beautiful to do spending time with our family," wrote another follower.

"Quality time making memories xx" said another.

Coleen's stylish leopard print top teamed with a sparkly bronze headband also received compliments.

"You look fabulous as usual and the boys are adorable," said one fan about her look.

The WAG supremo recently celebrated her 34th birthday in lockdown with her family.

Coleen and Wayne shared black and white snaps from their party on their Instagrams.

Former Manchester United player Wayne, also 34, wrote to his wife of 11 years: "Happy Birthday @coleen_rooney. House party our boys it is!!"

Wayne, who is now player-coach at Derby, gave fans an insight into the Rooneys' time in lockdown.

"Busy few days with the boys," he wrote, sharing photos of their sons exercising and completing puzzles.

A video posted by Wayne showed Kai playing football indoors with a toilet roll.

On Mothers' Day he posted an adorable snap of doting mum Coleen and their sons and wrote: "Happy Mothers' Day. Thanks for everything. We love you."
