Down the Hatch describe themselves as “...an authentic Canadian diner focusing on diner style food with a fresh locally sourced twist, big flavours, huge portions and all things Canadian!

”Our story starts back in 2015 with our Canadian born owner spotting a gap in the market for authentic Canadian food in Edinburgh’s vibrant foodie scene. Down the Hatch SQ started as a very small café and has grown over the years which led to the opening of Down the Hatch Edinburgh in 2020.”
