Musicians Dove Cameron and Damiano David of Måneskin are seemingly engaged, with the reports arriving courtesy of a joint sighting in Australia this week.
ICYMI, the impossibly attractive pair touched down in Sydney ahead of Måneskin’s tour Down Under, and were papped walking arm-in-arm along the city streets while sporting matching all-black outfits and, in Cameron’s case, a massive rock on the all-important finger.
While neither party has officially confirmed the news, the eager folks over at TMZ have gone ahead and rung the wedding bells, reporting that Cameron and David are engaged after two years of dating.
And look, I’m no jewellery or body language expert, but the sizable ring and the pair’s clearly smitten look (Cameron is basically the heart-eye emoji personified) certainly point to a happily ever after.
The fact that they’re probably just a stone’s throw away from a bin chicken is the cherry on top of the (wedding) cake.
If confirmed, the engagement will mark the latest update in the pair’s romance, which kicked off in September 2023 when Cameron, a former Disney Channel star, attended Måneskin’s concert in Madison Square Garden.
Dating rumours quickly circulated from there, culminating in a confirmation of romance when, a few months later, the pair were caught smooching, funnily enough, on Bondi Beach. What is it in the Sydney air that has these two so lovestruck? It can’t have been those poo balls!
Just this month, Cameron celebrated her relationship with a two-year anniversary tribute to David, saying she is “brought to tears at least once a week because life has become so beautiful with you in it”.
“I love you in a way no words could ever express, but I will never stop trying,” Cameron added, alongside multiple shots the pair kissing, canoodling, and giving every single person a reason to re-join the apps.
“The best part of being alive,” David replied at the time.
Before David, Cameron was previously engaged to boyfriend of three years Ryan McCartan, whom she starred opposite in the Disney sitcom Liv and Maddie.
David, meanwhile, dated Italian model and influencer Giorgia Soleri for nearly six years.
While we’re still awaiting confirmation, congratulations are still in order for Cameron and David, if only for surviving Sydney’s nonsensically cold weather.
