Hamilton Accies club captain Dougie Imrie has warned that Dundee will do everything they can to derail their safety bid.
Dundee are nine points behind Hamilton with the same to play for, but have a slightly better goal-difference; but Imrie says tension between the clubs over recent years mean it will be far from a ‘dead rubber’.
He said: “We know we have to win the game, or at least not lose, but it will not be easy.
“We’ve got a little bit of needle with Dundee over the last few seasons, so they’ll be up for the game.
“They lost at Motherwell and I don’t know if that’s them effectively down, but they won’t lie down to us and tell us we can pick up three points. They will be at it, so we have to be ready.”
