Doug Pederson says he expects every Eagles player to be in attendance for the mandatory minicamp

Even though he didn’t address the elephant in the room by name, Doug Pederson made it known how he felt about Malcolm Jenkins and the teams mandatory minicamp, during his Monday morning press conference. Pederson wouldn’t get into whether or not he’s had conversations with his star free safety, but one thing remains clear, and that’s Jenkins’s is expected to be in attendance.

“I expect to see everybody here next week”, Peterson stated regarding those players that have not attended voluntary OTAs.

Pederson was asked about attendance and whether or not he’ll have his entire team together for mandatory minicamp, which begins next week:

“We’re still in that voluntary portion of the offseason and we’re focused on the guys that are here,” Peterson said. “But I fully expect that everybody will be here next week.”

Jenkins has been working out on his own this spring, and he’s still yet to release any indication of if he’ll be in attendance, or why he’s been absent.
