Fletcher Cox has slowly returned to football activities after spending the bulk of the offseason program rehabbing from foot surgery. The Eagles All-Pro defensive tackle has yet to play in a preseason game, and with the season opener just two weeks from the day, there has been some discussion about Cox’s availability for the Birds season opener against the Redskins.
Doug Pederson met with the media on Sunday and provided an update on Cox’s status for week one.
Pederson also went on to say that he expects Nigel Bradham and Cox to at least go through walkthrough this week, with the overall goal being to “have everybody” ready for Week 1.
