Doug Pederson optimistic DeSean Jackson will play vs. the Bears

The Philadelphia Eagles are set to get their most explosive weapon back with the news that DeSean Jackson is likely to play vs. the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

While meeting with the media on Friday, head coach Doug Pederson said he was optimistic that Jackson would be able to go against the Bears.

Pederson went on to add that the Eagles would see how Jackson gets through Friday’s practice and feels over the weekend before making a final decision on his availability for Chicago.

Jackson has missed six straight games with what the team has termed an abdomen injury. Jackson was listed as a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
