Doug Pederson is steaming mad after his Philadelphia Eagles laid an egg on the road against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The Eagles were shredded by Kirk Cousins and Stefon Diggs, leaving the Birds at 3-3 on the season with a huge matchup against the Dallas Cowboys looming.
Pederson was a guest on the 94WIP Morning Show with Angelo Cataldi, and when asked about the matchup with Dallas, the Eagles head ball coach all but guaranteed a victory.
With the Cowboys’ embarrassing loss to the New York Jets, the Eagles and Dallas sit at 3-3 on the season, with a division-leading matchup scheduled that could go a long way towards determining who’ll represent the NFC East in the playoffs.
With both teams floundering amid mediocrity as several positions, it looks clearer and clearer by the weeks, that the NFC East will only have one representative in the playoffs. With San Francisco and playing so well, several playoff spot could be wrapped up before week 12, making this weeks matchup even more crucial.
