Doug Pederson gives Isaac Seumalo a vote of confidence after dismal performance vs. Falcons

Isaac Seumalo knows the feeling of being benched and after his putrid performance against the Falcons on Sunday night football, he couldn’t have blamed Doug Pederson for making a change. Instead, Pederson gave his left guard a vote of confidence on Friday, confirming that there won’t be any changes made along the offensive line.

According to Pro Football Focus, Seumalo had one of the worst performances by an offensive lineman since they started handing out grades. Seumalo gave up eight pressures (six hurries, two sacks) in the loss to the Falcons.

On Friday after practice, he faced the media.

Seumalo said he had already moved past last week’s game, and the fourth-year veteran can hopefully learn from it because he’ll be needed to help stabilize the passing game on Sunday.
