Doug Pederson credits OL coach Jeff Stoutland for the play design on Miles Sanders 65-yard TD run

Don’t look now, but Mike Groh could have some competition at offensive coordinator. The Eagles have been lacking big plays throughout the past four weeks and on Sunday, Miles Sanders provided one of the biggest scoring opportunities Philadelphia has had in years.

Sanders had three carries for 74 yards and one rushing touchdown, including this 65-yard explosion.

As a pass-catcher, Sanders has three catches for 44 yards against the Bills stout defense, but it was the 65-yard run that broke the game open.

During his Monday press conference, Doug Pederson credited offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland for the play call and design. On the play, the Eagles had both Howard and Sanders in the game split alongside Carson Wentz.

After the ball was snapped, Howard became the lead-blocker on the play, helping open up the breathing room that Sanders needed to hit that next gear and run away from the Bills defense.
