'Double stabbing' as two men attacked 'with sharp object' at Bristol nightclub

A police investigation is underway after two men were attacked with a "sharp object" at a nightclub in Bristol.

Officers were called to Baldwin Street early on Saturday (July 24).

Police say two men, aged in their 20s, were injured in the incident.

A statement from Avon and Somerset Constabulary reads: "Shortly before 3am on Saturday (24 July) the ambulance service made us aware two men had been assaulted inside a nightclub on Baldwin Street, Bristol.

"The men, both aged in their 20s, had sustained injuries consistent with being caused by a sharp object.

"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."

One witness told Bristol Live that two men were 'rushed to hospital with facial injuries' after being stabbed with a knife.
