Double international gold for West Lothian sibling athletes

There was sibling success for Livingston Athletic Club members Isla and Sarah Calvert as they both grabbed gold medals for Scotland while competing at the Welsh under-20 international match in Cardiff.

Isla won the 800m in a championship best time of 2:06.96 while Sarah won the 1500m in a personal best, and championship best, time of 4:25.95. The sisters were also both in the winning mixed 4x400m relay team, with the Scotland team finishing first in 3:31.93.

Fellow Livingston AC member Aidan Brady finished the 400m in 52.71.
