Double death tragedy as bodies of two women discovered at Stranraer home

Two women, aged 38 and 37, have been found dead at a property in Stranraer.

The bodies were discovered at a home on Glenwell Avenue around 3.55pm on Thursday afternoon.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the deaths.

A report on the incident has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two women, aged 38 and 37, were discovered dead within a property on Glenwell Avenue, Stranraer around 3.55pm on Thursday 6 May.

"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the deaths and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
