Double death home where Cannabis-growing dad and son died in fire on sale at knockdown price

A house where when their dodgy electrical supply exploded is on the market at a knockdown price.

Cannabis grower Adrian Rimmer and his dad Alistair perished in the fierce blaze two years ago .

It’s on offer via Wilsons Auctions in Dalry at a guide price of just £33,000.

The three-bed semi in Johnston Drive, Barassie is worth around £120,000 once put back into shape.

The auction simply say: “Due to fire damage this house requires a full refurbishment, the perfect project for any investor.”

In November 2017 47-year-old Adrian and Alistair,70, failed to make it out of the burning building, seen below as fire investigators sift the scene.

A cannabis plantation was growing in the garage and a vast array of solar panels had been hooked up to help power it.

They were found dead in a back bedroom despite frantic neighbours shouting to leap for their lives after putting a mattress in the garden.

Shortly before succumbing, one victim screamed back: “I can’t jump . . . I can’t jump.”

The alarm is understood to have been raised by teenagers who spotted flames leaping from the building at breakfast time on Sunday November 5, 2017.

Tragic Adrian was a former heroin addict who had already been caught for growing cannabis in the same Johnston Drive house.

The house has been boarded up and empty since the horror.
