Pure has made his return to Tundra Esports, officially joining the organization as their new carry player just days after being placed on BetBoom Team’s inactive roster.
The move reunites the 21-year-old Russian star with the team he helped take to a third-place finish at The International 2024, closing a chapter on his three-year stint with BetBoom. The announcement came on Oct. 9, confirming Pure’s swift transition from the sidelines back into a starting position on one of Europe’s strongest Dota 2 rosters.
Pure’s addition fills a crucial gap in Tundra Esports’ lineup following their recent post-TI roster overhaul. The organization had previously moved Crystallis to inactive status, leaving the carry role open ahead of the new competitive season.
For Tundra, this isn’t unfamiliar ground with Pure. His previous run with the team during The International 2024 saw him form strong synergy with support player Whitemon and play alongside veterans like Topson, a combination that brought the team to one of its best performances in recent years.
Speaking on the changes, Tundra confirmed Pure’s signing as part of a broader restructuring effort after their disappointing seventh-to-eighth-place finish at The International 2025. The organization recently announced the addition of British support player Ari, who steps into the position four role following Saksa’s departure.
Their struggles at TI 2025 were exacerbated by visa complications that kept Whitemon from attending, forcing the team to compete with substitute Tobi. Despite those setbacks, Tundra managed to eliminate defending champions Team Liquid before bowing out against South American challengers Heroic.

Pure’s return to Tundra comes at a pivotal moment in the post-TI shuffle, where top teams across regions are reshaping their lineups for the next season. His experience with Tundra’s system and his proven ability to perform on the biggest stages make his signing a natural fit.
With familiar faces like Whitemon rejoining the fold and a renewed focus on stability, Tundra Esports looks set to regain its footing in the competitive scene. As Pure rejoins the roster he once led to international success, both the player and the team seem determined to rediscover the form that made their previous partnership one of the most exciting storylines in recent Dota 2 history.
