Dortmund set Jadon Sancho deadline, Chelsea open Oblak talks - Premier League transfer rumours

The Premier League transfer window is officially open and a summer of toing and froing at the virtual negotiation table is now underway.

The top-flight season came to a close on Sunday and just hours later, clubs up and down the league were given the go-ahead to begin their summer business.

Of course, the rumour mill turns freely throughout the season but the opening of the transfer window usually signals the start of an avalanche of transfer rumours.

Dortmund set United deadline to sign Jadon Sancho

Manchester United have less than two weeks to complete a deal for Jadon Sancho, according to reports.

The Mail suggests Borussia Dortmund want a deal done by August 10 when they leave for pre-season camp in Switzerland, even though the window will stay open until October

Sancho has long been linked with a move to United, with the MEN of the understanding that the England international is the club’s top transfer target this summer.

Torres set for City move

Liverpool have been handed a blow in any rumoured pursuit of Valencia star Ferran Torres.

Reports are suggesting Manchester City are close to completing a swoop for the youngster.

The Times, as cited by Sportslens, suggest Pep Guardiola's side have reached a verbal agreement with the 20-year-old over a long-term deal.

Chelsea in talks over Oblak deal

Marina Granovskaia has reportedly held talks with Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak about the possibility of a move to Stamford Bridge.

According to the Daily Star, Oblak is at the top of Frank Lampard’s list to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer.

Oblak is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in world football and would be seen as a major coup for the Blues this summer.

Fernandes deal close

Arsenal are reportedly closing in on a deal for Sporting Lisbon youngster Joelson Fernandes.

Portuguese publication A Bola claims the 17-year-old could sign for the Gunners in the next 24 hours.

The report goes on to add that the Emirates club are apparently ready to meet his £40million release clause.
