Dortmund have doubled down for the '27th time', telling Manchester United that Jadon Sancho will not be leaving this deadline day.
The Red Devils have been in hot pursuit of the England international all summer but are unwilling to pay Dortmund's £108million valuation.
Sancho is currently in the UK ahead of the international break.
The former Man City forward will meet up with Gareth Southgate and his Three Lions team-mates on Monday before England's matches against Wales, Belgium and Denmark.
Ahead of Sancho leaving Germany for England, Dortmund chief Michael Zorc provided a final update on the 20-year-old's future.
"The door is closed, I have said this 27 times," said Zorc.
Dortmund have been resilient throughout the summer and have continually told Manchester United 'pay up or miss out'.
The Red Devils were hoping Dortmund would eventually come down on their asking price, but Sancho is contracted until 2023, and BVB are under no pressure to do so.
United have since turned their attention to Edinson Cavani, in the hope of getting a deal done for an attacking player this month.
The forward is set to sign a contract until June 2022 with United, and will fill the void up top until the Red Devils go back in for Sancho next season.
