Dorsey: Browns will ‘explore all opportunities’ to improve the roster

The first question for Browns general manager John Dorsey at his NFL combine press conference dealt with the rapid pace of player acquisitions, both last year and this offseason.

Already, the team has agreed to a one-year deal with starting left tackle Greg Robinson, as well as bringing in former Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt. Don’t expect that activity level to decline, either.

“Well, I think you have to explore all opportunities with regards to how to acquire players,” Dorsey stated. “We’ve always said we’ll examine everything. We will attempt to see if the best decision for the organization moving forward because that’s what we are trying to do. We are trying to get better year in and year out.”

Dorsey steadfastly declined to talk about players currently on other teams, repeatedly stating he would not discuss non-Browns players. But the Browns GM, clad in his trademark white sweatshirt, is clearly open for business to make this team better in any possible way.
