Doors Open Days success as families visit Renfrewshire attractions

The gates were open at The Lamont Farm Project this weekend as families enjoyed a real hands on experience.

The Erskine facility took part in the Doors Open Days festival as it returned for its 32nd year.

The national event - headed up by the Scottish Civic Trust - gives people free access to historic and cultural venues so they can find out more about hidden gems in their area.

Lamont Farm Project was founded 1977 by a group of individuals with a strong desire to establish a local education and community facility.

Over the weekend, families were able to get up close and personal with small furries, such as rabbits and guinea pigs, and larger animals in the outdoor stables and fields, such as pigs and llamas.

And those brave enough were able to visit the reptile room.
