It's a feeling most dog owners can relate to.
You've headed out and leave your pooch home alone for a few hours - but have no idea what they'll get up to.
Owners are left worrying for their pet's safety and that they might be bored.
But one cheeky dog's antics allayed those fears, as they were captured on camera having a whale of a time, The Mirror reports.
The heartwarming video showed the pooch, called Hamilton, having the time of his life splashing around in a swimming pool.
Enjoying himself, he's seen having a paddle around before climbing out and shaking the water away.
But he's not done yet and heads back for more.
Hamilton's owner, called Mary, said: "He’s always loved water. We wanted to see what he would do if he had the pool to himself. I'm so grateful for this memory."
She said the video, which was recorded on a Ring Doorbell camera, showed Hamilton's "funny personality" as he made the most of the free time.
Mary added: "I laugh every time I watch it. We love our Ring camera to be able to check up on things when [we’re] not around."
