Doohoo Choi undergoes surgery for broken arm suffered at UFC Busan

Doohoo Choi underwent surgery to repair his broken forearm.

Choi (14-4 MMA, 3-3 UFC) broke his forearm in the first round of his UFC on ESPN+ 23 fight against Charles Jourdain this past Saturday in Busan, South Korea, where he suffered a TKO loss in the second round.

He took to Instagram to share images of his broken arm.

Once one of the hottest featherweight prospects in the UFC, “The Korean Superboy” has struggled as of late, and has lost his three in a row. The fight with Jourdain did earn Choi his fifth straight bonus – both men were awarded “Fight of the Night.”
