Missing West Belfast woman Donna Marie Burns found safe

A woman who sparked a police missing person's appeal has been found safe and well.

Donna Marie Burns, from Creeslough Park, was last seen just before midnight on Wednesday, June 26.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Woodbourne Police are becoming increasingly concerned about the whereabouts of missing person, Donna Marie Burns from the Creeslough Park area who was last seen on Wednesday 26th June at 11.58 hours, heading in the direction of Lenadoon Avenue."

"Donna was last seen wearing a pink/peach hoodie, jeans and flip flops," they added."

It was later confirmed by a friend on social media that Donna Maire has been found safe.

They posted: "Absolutely fantastic news to share with you.
Donna has been found safe and sound and is with her family again. It's a brilliant result. I'd like to thank her family for contacting me to keep me updated. As ever I extend my gratitude to the Community search and rescue for their time, I'll never get bored of singing their praises, they are outstanding volunteers."
