Team Spirit rifler Danil “donk” Kryshkovets has set a new all-time FACEIT Elo record in Counter-Strike 2. The player reached a tally of 5,434 points, surpassing the previous mark of 5,415 held by Liam “MaiL09” Tugel.
With eight days still remaining in the current season, the 19-year-old prodigy has a real chance to push the record even higher before the window closes.
donk’s incredible FACEIT Season Elo climb
The superstar started season 8, following the Elo soft-reset, at 3,935 Elo. But in the months since, donk has climbed 1,499 Elo across 152 matches, averaging a 1.49 FACEIT Rating. Maintaining that rating across a 10-map tournament run is an incredible feat in its own right, one that very few players have ever managed. But to average that level over 152 matches points to donk’s unprecedented consistency.
That Elo grind has also lined up well with his uptick in individual form in tier-one competitions. Season 8 kicked off in April 2026, just days after the conclusion of IEM Rio 2026, where Spirit finally made a final against Team Vitality. The player has hardly looked back since, averaging an eye-watering 1.46 rating across the IEM Cologne 2026 Major.

MaiL09’s previous FACEIT Elo record
donk’s season 8 push sees him reclaim the record he previously held in July 2025. That 5,350 high mark stood for nearly six months until Swedish prodigy MaiL09, then just 16 years old, overtook it in November 2025. The Swede became the first player to push his Elo past the 5,400 mark, peaking at 5,415 points to become the all-time Elo leader. That achievement also made MaiL09 the youngest player ever to top the FACEIT Elo charts.

But now, just a season later, donk has snatched his record back, pushing it even higher across season 8. MaiL09 currently sits at No. 61 on the EU FACEIT rankings, with just 4,188 Elo, having taken significant breaks during the season. Whether he can answer back in season 9 remains to be seen, with the player returning to Metizport’s active roster to kick off the tier-two circuit.

The player is known for his incredible mechanical prowess, introducing mechanics like the “donk-slide” to professional Counter-Strike. He has consistently been one of the top performers on FACEIT, picking up five consecutive No. 1 rankings from season one to five.
With eight days remaining in season 8, the gap between donk and the rest of the FACEIT leaderboard is likely to keep growing. But his competitors can take solace in the fact that the rifler’s attention will be split between the platform and his official matches at BLAST Bounty Season 2 2026.
