Everyone's favourite CNN reporter marked a major milestone in his career on Friday evening, as Donie O'Sullivan appeared on the first episode of the new series of The Late Late Show.
O'Sullivan shot to fame in Ireland following his coverage of the storming of the US Capitol in which four people died earlier this year.
The Kerryman remained calm amongst the chaos as he reported what was happening on the ground to CNN.
But he told host Ryan Tubridy exactly how he did it, with the help of an old Irish friend.
"It was a long day, we didn't expect it to go that crazy. We started at 8am in the morning and were there 12 hours later and I hadn't eaten! I'm not usually one to miss a meal!
"My roommate at the time, who also works for CNN, was my producer for the day and I turned to her at 6pm and said 'I need some food'.
"Because she lives with me, she had grabbed a few things from the apartment. In the middle of the insurrection and the riots on Capitol Hill, and I'm there munching on a bag of cheese and onion Tayto! The Taytos got me through it."
The reporter received praise from around the world for how he handled the situation with such professionalism and soon was trending on social media in Ireland.
Looking down the lens, Donie explained how Trump supporters had stormed the Capitol.
Four people died during the incident. A member of law enforcement shot one, and three others died from 'medical emergencies’.
Donie, who is from Cahersiveen in Kerry, is now a US citizen and has worked for CNN since 2016.
