Donegall Road Belfast July 12 attack leaves man in hospital

A man was left in hospital after an attack on the Twelfth of July .

He was punched on the back of the head in the Donegall Road area and fell to the ground at 6pm.

He sustained head and facial injuries and was treated at hospital for his injuries.

Sergeant Guy Larkin said: "The assault, reported to us on Saturday (13th July) at approximately 12:20pm occurred at around 6pm the previous evening (Friday, 12th July).

"It was reported the victim, aged in his forties, was punched on the back of the head and fell to the ground. He sustained head and facial injuries and was treated at hospital for his injuries.

"I would appeal to anyone who was in the area and saw what happened, or who has information which could our investigation to get in touch on 101, quoting reference number 879 13/07/19."
