Donegall Avenue Belfast: Cyclist injured after 'hit and run'

A cyclist has been injured after a 'hit and run' in Belfast.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident on Donegall Avenue on Saturday morning, December 11.

It is understood a black BMW collided with a cyclist before making off towards Donegall Road.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a hit and run injury collision on Donegall Avenue today at approx 11:45am. It was reported that a black BMW collided with a cyclist before making off towards Donegall Road.

"Were you in the area? Do you have dashcam footage? Please contact Police on 101 quoting reference number 738 11/12/21."
