Donegal legend Martin Shovlin lines out for Naomh Ulton in club championship at age 60

Donegal legend Martin Shovlin has lined out for his club at the ripe old of 60 last weekend.

Shovlin is set to turn 61 in January but came off the bench for Naomh Ulton in their club championship game.

The Donegal side were in action against Naomh Brid in the Donegal Intermediate B Championship with Shovlin coming off the bench for his side.

But the 1992 All-Ireland winner could not prove the unlikely hero as they slumped to 1-11 to 1-10 loss.

Shovlin represented Donegal until 1997 before focusing his attention to club football and was part of the panel that won the 1992 All-Ireland but missed the final through injury.

The Donegal man also won two Ulster titles and was named Ulster Player of the Year in 1990.
